Have You Heard? The Conversation is Growing.

“Her Dialogue this year is more family-oriented, more focused on parenting, and more intentional about engaging all stakeholders to play their role in the parenting journey.”

Yes, you heard right.

And honestly, I couldn’t be more excited.

Every year when this season comes around, I am reminded of how this journey began.

It was in 2018, shortly after I had given birth to my son. If I’m honest, I wasn’t myself.

At the time, I didn’t fully understand what I was experiencing. Looking back, I believe I was struggling with postpartum anxiety. I cried over everything. Even hunger felt different. The smallest things overwhelmed me. I found myself constantly exhausted, emotional, and complaining more than I cared to admit. I felt disconnected from the version of myself I knew and loved.

Motherhood had arrived, but so had a version of me that I barely recognized.

The truth is, I only pulled through because of the support I had around me. Family members, friends, and people who showed up for me in ways both big and small carried me through one of the most vulnerable seasons of my life.

From those experiences, from the tears, the lessons, the growth, and the support, Her Dialogue was born.

What started as a desire to create a safe space for women became a community where mothers and women from different walks of life could gather, share, learn, heal, and support one another through their unique journeys.

Whew! That’s the very short version of a story that is incredibly close to my heart. Trust me, there is so much more to tell, and I look forward to sharing more of it as we continue this journey together.

As the years went by, however, we realized something important.

While we were creating meaningful conversations for women, we had unintentionally left out some of the people who play vital roles in our lives and in the parenting journey.

Parenting was never meant to be carried by one person alone.

There are fathers, partners, siblings, grandparents, friends, guardians, mentors, and many others who form part of the support system that helps raise children and strengthen families.

And so, this year, we are expanding the conversation.

Welcome to the Parenting Dialogue 2026: Own Your Story.

This year’s theme is deeply personal because one lesson I have learned over and over again is this:

Your story is yours.

In a world where comparison is only a scroll away, it is easy to look at another family, another parent, another child, another relationship, and wonder if you’re doing enough.

But comparison steals joy.

Every family looks different.

Some families are led by single parents.

Some are blended families.

Some are grandparents raising grandchildren.

Some are co-parenting.

Some are supported by siblings, friends, and communities.

No matter what your family structure looks like, your journey matters.

Your challenges are valid.

Your victories deserve celebration.

Your story is worth owning.

The Parenting Dialogue is not about presenting perfect families or perfect parents. It is about creating a safe space where we can have honest conversations, learn from one another, and remind each other that none of us are walking this journey alone.

What excites me most is not simply that the event is approaching.

It is knowing that once again, we will gather to pour into one another’s cups.

We will listen.

We will learn.

We will share.

We will grow.

Together.

So if you’ve been feeling stuck, if you’ve been longing for change, if you’ve been searching for connection, or if you’re simply ready to become more intentional about the life and family you’re building, I would love for you to join us.

Bring your story.

Bring your experiences.

Bring your questions.

Bring your support system.

Most importantly, come exactly as you are.

Because your story matters.
